After a few days of really cold wind from Tibet and snow we woke up to clear blue skies and the sound of helicopters flying. Bob’s chopper came at 6:45am. I gave him a big hug and he wished me good luck.
Now it just feels so real and suddenly I feel nervous and a little scared. Bob was like my comfort blanket.
After breakfast I went with Craig to see his friends at Kaitu expedition. They have 7 Chinese clients who brought their own cook and also set up a hair salon. Unfortunately the lady who was washing and cutting hair had got too cold and flew out this morning. But I did get to see the salon tent and it was really good. What a pity. Oh well we had nice tea and we were invited to stay for Chinese lunch which was lovely.
