Yesterday we trekked to our base camp for Lobouche. Thankfully Bob was feeling better and decided to keep on with the program so there’s still the two of us.
We spent the latter part of the afternoon practicing crevasse rescue.
Today we spent a lot of time learning rock climbing skills, how to build anchors, how to use the gear and after lunch we climbed a big vertical rock face a few times using a top rope with guide Tim at the anchor.
My cold still lingers, it’s difficult to shift in these cold temperatures and when you can’t sleep or rest properly. I will appreciate everything I have at home when I get back.
