I can honestly say although Zamling has the best rooms, this place the Khumbu Resort, Dingboche does the best food. My spaghetti Bolognese last night was amazing, breakfast of Austrian Omelette was amazing, pizza for lunch was amazing and I’ll be having the spag Bol again tonight.
As today was a rest day we just did an acclimatisation hike up to 5000 m along a ridge line and came back. We had lovely views of Ama Dablam before the clouds came rolling in.
The local bakery is showing the film Everest although I’m not sure I want to go and see it actually being here. I’m trying to stay focused although distracted at the same time lol. And I’m not even thinking about climbing yet. Or the cold. We’ve had snow fall a few evenings but not too much and it clears the next day when the sun comes out.
