15th October – another night, another bar

 The Irish Bar with our team leader and (L-R) Peak Freaks Owner and Founder Tim, Mark (who has been to high camp on Everest and woke up on summit day with dead toes, had to come down and lost them all but I must say he’s one of the nicest guys), me, then my roomie Tee.The Liquid Bar (L-R) Bob (who’s completed 6 of the 7 summits, only Everest to go now), me, Tee, and Mark.(Mark and Bob were my favourite people, after Tee)  The horse shoe shaped great main town of Namche Bazaar. This is like civilisation, most of the little places don;t have much but you can find almost anything you want in Namche. It’s like a small city. The Sir Edmund Hillary School. He did so much to improve the lives of the people who live here. Education here now for the children is free. In Kathmandu they have to pay.The beautiful Ama Dablam. To see this beautiful mountain in real life in almost spiritual. It exudes feelings you can’t imagine unless you’re right there in the Himalayas.  The Shrine to Sir Edmund Hillary Typical lunch stopA huge prayer wheel
